Job Description

We’re looking for an experienced Government Information Specialist (Privacy Specialist) to join FEMA’s team and help protect the privacy of the individuals and organizations we serve. The ideal candidate should possess a combination of technical and policy knowledge, with the ability to quickly learn and apply new concepts. You’ll be responsible for implementing privacy policies, conducting research and analysis, and collaborating with other government agencies. To succeed in this role, you must have an understanding of federal regulations related to privacy, information security, and data management. In addition, you should have excellent communication and organizational skills, as well as the capacity to work both independently and as part of a team.
