  1. Conduct research and analysis to identify innovative solutions and technologies for disaster response and recovery.
  2. Develop computer programs and systems to support FEMA’s disaster response and recovery operations.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement technology solutions that meet the needs of various stakeholders.
  4. Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in computer science and apply them to improve FEMA’s disaster response and recovery efforts.
  5. Evaluate and test new software and hardware to improve efficiency and effectiveness of disaster response and recovery operations.
  6. Provide technical support and troubleshooting for FEMA’s computer systems and programs.
  7. Develop and maintain databases and data management systems to support disaster response and recovery efforts.
  8. Train and educate FEMA staff on the use of new computer systems and technologies.
  9. Collaborate with external partners and stakeholders to coordinate technology initiatives and share best practices.
  10. Ensure compliance with federal regulations and standards related to computer systems and data management.
  11. Contribute to the development of policies and procedures related to technology and data management.
  12. Stay informed about emerging technologies and make recommendations for their integration into FEMA’s operations.
  13. Participate in disaster response and recovery efforts as needed, providing technical expertise and support.
  14. Communicate and present technical information to non-technical stakeholders in a clear and understandable manner.
  15. Maintain accurate and detailed records of projects, activities, and outcomes.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Computer Science Or A Related Field.

  • Strong Understanding Of Programming Languages Such As Java, Python, And C++.
