
Site Reliability Engineer
Under general supervision, assist in the development and design of deliverables that support the resolution of moderately complex problems and technical design gaps. Support improvement initiatives that are aligned with overarching global reliability of the Dataworks’ systems, including capacity planning, failover strategies, performance improvements and reduction of Mean Time to Awareness/Resolve. Manage operations of critical applications used by external and internal customers, resolving incidents, providing operations support, maintenance, enhancements. Create site reliability strategy and roadmap and help establish SRE engagement model. Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement changes. Automate the support functions to improve operational efficiency. Evaluate tech stacks and implement new technologies to improve reliability.
Experience with Azure Kubernetes Service, API, webhooks, Azure Cosmos DB, Azure Data Explorer, Azure Data Factory
Experience in FinOps - Cloud cost management
Experience/knowledge in capacity planning, demand forecast based on production KPIs and provisioning.
Experience with software development, DevOps and CI/CD
Two (2) years equivalent work experience in information technology or engineering environment
