
Shuttle Driver/DOT
We are currently seeking a dedicated and reliable Shuttle Driver/DOT to join our team at FedEx. - Operate the shuttle vehicle in a safe and efficient manner, following all DOT regulations and company policies
- Transport packages and materials to and from FedEx locations, ensuring timely and accurate delivery
- Inspect and maintain the shuttle vehicle, reporting any issues or malfunctions to the appropriate personnel
- Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures, including proper handling and securing of packages
- Provide exceptional customer service by loading and unloading packages with care and maintaining a professional demeanor at all times
- Keep accurate records of vehicle maintenance, mileage, and delivery logs
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure efficient operations and customer satisfaction
- Complete all required training and maintain a current DOT certification
- Adhere to company policies and procedures, including dress code and attendance requirements
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, both in the shuttle vehicle and at the designated pickup and drop-off locations.
Valid Commercial Driver's License (Cdl): A Shuttle Driver/Dot At Fedex Must Possess A Valid Cdl In Order To Operate Large Commercial Vehicles On Public Roads.
Clean Driving Record: Fedex Requires All Shuttle Drivers To Have A Clean Driving Record, With No Major Violations Or Accidents In The Past Three Years.
Knowledge Of Department Of Transportation (Dot) Regulations: A Shuttle Driver/Dot At Fedex Must Have A Thorough Understanding Of Dot Regulations And Be Able To Comply With All Safety And Compliance Requirements.
Ability To Pass A Background Check And Drug Test: As A Trusted Transportation Company, Fedex Requires All Shuttle Drivers To Pass A Background Check And Drug Test Before Being Hired.
Customer Service Skills: Shuttle Drivers At Fedex Are Often The First Point Of Contact For Customers, And Therefore Must Have Strong Customer Service Skills And A Friendly Demeanor.
