Job Description

As a Service Center Support, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our service center, providing support and assistance to both our internal team members and external customers.   1. Greet and welcome customers in a friendly and professional manner.
  2. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a timely and effective manner.
  3. Assist customers with shipping and tracking packages, as well as answering questions about FedEx services and policies.
  4. Maintain a clean and organized service center, ensuring a professional and welcoming environment for customers.
  5. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient and accurate handling of packages and shipments.
  6. Monitor and maintain inventory levels of shipping supplies and materials.
  7. Process and handle packages and shipments in accordance with FedEx standards and procedures.
  8. Operate various office equipment, such as printers, scanners, and computers, to assist with customer transactions.
  9. Keep track of customer transactions and maintain accurate records of shipped packages and payments received.
  10. Act as a liaison between customers and other team members to resolve any issues or concerns that may arise.
  11. Continuously strive to meet and exceed customer expectations by providing excellent service and anticipating their needs.
  12. Keep up-to-date with knowledge of FedEx services, policies, and procedures.
  13. Assist with any additional tasks or projects as assigned by management.

Job Qualifications
  • High School Diploma Or Equivalent: A Minimum Education Requirement For A Service Center Support Job At Fedex Is A High School Diploma Or Ged. This Demonstrates Basic Knowledge And Understanding Of Academic Subjects.

  • Customer Service Experience: Strong Customer Service Skills Are Essential For This Role, As Service Center Support Employees Are Often The First Point Of Contact For Customers. Previous Experience In A Customer-Facing Role, Such As Retail Or Call Center, Is Highly Desirable.

  • Computer Skills: Proficiency In Basic Computer Skills, Such As Data Entry And Navigating Through Different Software Programs, Is Necessary For This Role. Familiarity With Microsoft Office And Other Relevant Software Is Preferred.

  • Physical Fitness: This Job Requires Physical Stamina As It Involves Lifting And Moving Packages Of Varying Weights And Sizes. Candidates Should Be Able To Comfortably Lift Up To 50 Pounds And Stand For Long Periods Of Time.

  • Organizational Skills: Service Center Support Employees Are Responsible For Managing And Organizing Incoming And Outgoing Packages. Strong Organizational Skills Are Necessary To Ensure Efficient And Accurate Sorting And Delivery Of Packages.
