We are seeking a motivated and experienced Retail Assistant Manager to join our dynamic team at FedEx. As the Assistant Manager, you will play a vital role in ensuring the success of our retail operations by providing exceptional customer service, managing inventory and sales, and leading and developing a team of retail associates.   1. Oversee day-to-day operations of the retail store, including opening and closing procedures, cash management, and inventory control.
  2. Provide excellent customer service to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
  3. Train and develop retail associates to provide exceptional service, product knowledge, and sales techniques.
  4. Create and implement strategies to increase sales and meet or exceed store goals.
  5. Monitor and analyze sales data to identify trends, make informed decisions, and adjust strategies as needed.
  6. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as local, state, and federal laws and regulations.
  7. Maintain a clean and organized store environment, adhering to visual merchandising standards.
  8. Collaborate with the Store Manager to develop and implement employee schedules, manage payroll, and control expenses.
  9. Assist in the hiring, onboarding, and performance management of retail associates.
  10. Communicate effectively with customers, team members, and upper management to address any issues or concerns.
  11. Continuously evaluate and improve store processes and procedures to increase efficiency and productivity.
  12. Stay informed on industry trends, competitor strategies, and customer preferences to make informed business decisions.
  13. Foster a positive and supportive work environment for retail associates, promoting teamwork, motivation, and accountability.
  14. Represent the company in a professional manner and uphold its values and mission.
  15. Take on additional responsibilities and projects as assigned by the Store Manager.

Job Qualifications
  • Prior Experience In Retail Management: A Successful Candidate For The Retail Assistant Manager Role At Fedex Should Have At Least 2-3 Years Of Experience In A Similar Position, Preferably In The Retail Industry.
