Job Description

As a Platform Engineer Manager, you will be leading a team of highly skilled engineers responsible for developing cloud infrastructure, data engineering frameworks, proprietary data science platforms and information management services. The servant leader in this role will focus on building and maintaining highly engaged, diverse teams providing professional development, coaching and guidance. Identifying continuous improvement opportunities, devising strategies, and leading your team through execution will be of the most important and rewarding aspects of this role. The ideal candidate will strive in a fast pace, highly dynamic atmosphere, unafraid of risks and willing to fail fast to learn and succeed.

Job Qualifications

  • At least 5+ of cloud experience, i.e. AWS, Azure or GCP

  • At least 5+ years working with CI/CD tooling such as Jenkins/Github Actions/CircleCI

  • Strong experience managing Message Queue infrastructure at scale (i.e. millions of messages a day)

  • At least 3+ years working with Snowflake or Databricks

  • Previous management experience, managing a DevOps or CloudOps team
