
People Solutions Specialist - Back Office Investigations

- Lead and manage the Back Office Investigations department, including overseeing a team of investigators and ensuring all investigations are conducted in a timely and efficient manner.
- Conduct thorough investigations into workplace incidents, including but not limited to harassment, discrimination, safety violations, and employee misconduct.
- Maintain a high level of confidentiality and sensitivity while handling sensitive and confidential information related to investigations.
- Develop and implement strategies and procedures to promote a safe and inclusive work environment for all employees.
- Stay up-to-date with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies and ensure investigations are conducted in compliance with these guidelines.
- Collaborate with HR and other departments to provide guidance and support on employee relations matters.
- Monitor and track trends in workplace incidents and provide recommendations for proactive measures to prevent and address such incidents.
- Document and report on all investigations, including findings and recommendations for corrective action.
- Communicate with all involved parties, including employees, managers, and HR, in a professional and respectful manner throughout the investigation process.
- Represent the company in a positive and professional manner during legal proceedings or external investigations, if necessary.
Strong Analytical Skills: A People Solutions Specialist Must Possess Strong Analytical Skills To Effectively Investigate And Resolve Complex Employee Issues. This Includes The Ability To Gather And Analyze Data, Identify Patterns And Trends, And Draw Meaningful Conclusions.
Knowledge Of Employment Laws And Regulations: This Position Requires A Thorough Understanding Of Local, State, And Federal Employment Laws And Regulations To Ensure Compliance With Company Policies And Procedures During Investigations.
Communication Skills: A People Solutions Specialist Must Have Excellent Communication Skills To Effectively Communicate With All Levels Of Employees, From Front-Line Workers To Senior Management. This Includes The Ability To Write Clear And Concise Reports And Deliver Presentations.
Conflict Resolution Skills: This Role Involves Dealing With Employee Conflicts And Complaints, So A People Solutions Specialist Must Have Strong Conflict Resolution Skills To Effectively Mediate And Resolve These Issues In A Fair And Timely Manner.
Experience With Hr Information Systems: Familiarity With Hr Information Systems, Such As Workday Or Sap, Is Often Required For This Role To Effectively Track And Manage Employee Information And Investigations. Proficiency In Microsoft Office Suite Is Also Typically Required.
