- Perform routine and preventative maintenance tasks on various industrial equipment, including conveyor systems, sorting machines, and forklifts.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic issues on equipment to determine root cause and implement repairs.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of maintenance and repair activities.
- Collaborate with other team members and departments to identify and resolve equipment malfunctions and improve overall efficiency.
- Follow all safety protocols and ensure that all maintenance activities are performed in a safe and timely manner.
- Conduct regular inspections of equipment to identify potential issues and proactively address them.

- Train and mentor new maintenance technicians as needed.
- Participate in on-call rotations and be available for emergency repairs outside of regular working hours when necessary.
High School Diploma Or Equivalent: A Basic Education Is Necessary To Understand The Technicalities Of The Job And To Communicate Effectively With Other Team Members.
Technical Training Or Certification: A Degree Or Certification In Industrial Maintenance, Mechanical Engineering, Or A Related Field Is Preferred To Demonstrate Knowledge And Expertise In The Subject Matter.
Experience In Industrial Maintenance: Candidates With Prior Experience In Industrial Maintenance, Particularly In A Warehouse Or Production Environment, Are Highly Desirable As They Can Quickly Learn And Adapt To The Specific Processes And Systems At Fedex.
Knowledge Of Electrical And Mechanical Systems: An Understanding Of Electrical, Hydraulic, And Pneumatic Systems Is Crucial To Troubleshooting And Repairing Equipment In A Timely And Efficient Manner.
