  1. Accurately and efficiently process packages according to company standards and procedures.
  2. Ensure timely delivery of packages to their designated destinations.
  3. Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote a safe and productive environment.
  4. Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate and prioritize workload.
  5. Operate equipment and machinery safely and efficiently.
  6. Follow all safety protocols and regulations to prevent accidents or injuries.
  7. Proactively identify and report any issues or problems with packages or equipment.
  8. Adhere to company policies and procedures at all times.
  9. Provide exceptional customer service and address any customer inquiries or concerns.

Job Qualifications

  • Prior Experience In A Warehouse Environment: Candidates Should Have Previous Experience Working In A Warehouse Setting, Preferably In A Similar Role As A Handler.

  • Familiarity With Warehouse Equipment And Processes: Candidates Should Be Familiar With Operating Equipment Such As Forklifts, Pallet Jacks, And Hand Trucks. They Should Also Have Knowledge Of Warehouse Processes, Such As Receiving, Picking, And Packing.

  • Physical Fitness And Ability To Lift Heavy Objects: The Job Of A Handler At Fedex Involves A Lot Of Physical Labor, Including Lifting And Moving Heavy Packages. Candidates Should Be Physically Fit And Capable Of Lifting Up To 50 Pounds.

  • Attention To Detail And Strong Organizational Skills: As A Handler, Candidates Will Be Responsible For Sorting And Organizing Packages And Ensuring They Are Loaded Onto The Correct Trucks. Attention To Detail And Strong Organizational Skills Are Necessary For This Role.

  • Ability To Work In A Fast-Paced Environment: Working In A Warehouse Can Be Fast-Paced And Hectic, Especially During Peak Shipping Seasons. Candidates Should Be Able To Thrive In A Fast-Paced Environment And Work Well Under Pressure.
