  1. Safely and efficiently operate a delivery vehicle to transport packages to designated locations.
  2. Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while operating the delivery vehicle.
  3. Ensure timely and accurate delivery of packages to customers, following designated routes and schedules.
  4. Provide exceptional customer service by greeting and interacting with customers in a professional and friendly manner.
  5. Assist with loading and unloading packages from the delivery vehicle.
  6. Maintain delivery records and report any discrepancies or issues to the supervisor.
  7. Communicate with customers regarding delivery status and any delays or issues that may arise.
  8. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient and effective delivery operations.
  9. Follow company policies and procedures, including maintaining confidentiality of customer information.
  10. Keep delivery vehicle clean and well-maintained, reporting any maintenance or repair needs.
  11. Adapt to changing schedules and routes, including potential evening or weekend shifts.
  12. Uphold a positive and professional image of the company at all times.
  13. Continuously strive to meet or exceed delivery performance metrics.
  14. Attend training and development programs as required by the company.
  15. Take responsibility for personal and vehicle safety, including following all COVID-19 safety protocols.

Job Qualifications

  • Valid Commercial Driver's License (Cdl): To Become A Delivery Swing Driver At Fedex, Candidates Must Possess A Valid Cdl With The Appropriate Endorsements For The Type Of Vehicle They Will Be Operating.

  • Clean Driving Record: As A Delivery Swing Driver, It Is Important To Have A Clean Driving Record With No Major Traffic Violations Or Accidents. Fedex May Conduct A Background Check On Potential Candidates To Ensure They Meet This Requirement.

  • Ability To Lift And Move Heavy Packages: Delivery Swing Drivers Are Responsible For Loading And Unloading Packages Of Various Sizes And Weights. Therefore, Candidates Must Be Physically Fit And Able To Lift And Move Heavy Packages Without Assistance.

  • Customer Service Skills: Delivery Swing Drivers Are The Face Of Fedex And Often Have Direct Interaction With Customers During Package Deliveries. Strong Customer Service Skills Are Essential To Providing A Positive And Professional Experience For Customers.

  • Flexible Schedule: The Nature Of The Job May Require Delivery Swing Drivers To Work Weekends, Holidays, And Varying Shifts. Candidates Must Be Willing To Work A Flexible Schedule And Be Available For On-Call Assignments As Needed.
