- Safely and efficiently operate a delivery vehicle to transport packages and shipments to customers according to designated routes.
- Ensure packages are properly loaded, secured and delivered to the correct destination.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving and maintain a safe driving record.
- Provide exceptional customer service by communicating in a professional and courteous manner with customers.
- Handle customer inquiries and concerns promptly and escalate to appropriate channels when needed.
- Maintain accurate and detailed delivery records and report any discrepancies or issues to management.
- Follow company policies and procedures to ensure timely and accurate delivery of packages.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the delivery vehicle to ensure safety and report any maintenance or repair needs.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient delivery routes and timely completion of deliveries.
- Keep up-to-date with any changes in delivery routes, traffic conditions, and customer instructions.
- Maintain a clean and organized delivery vehicle at all times.

Valid Commercial Driver's License (Cdl) With A Clean Driving Record: A Delivery Swing Driver At Fedex Must Possess A Valid Cdl, Which Allows Them To Operate Commercial Vehicles. This Includes Passing A Background Check And Having A Clean Driving Record To Ensure Safe And Responsible Driving.
Excellent Driving Skills And Knowledge Of Traffic Laws: Delivery Swing Drivers Must Have Strong Driving Skills And A Thorough Understanding Of Traffic Laws To Safely Navigate Through Various Road And Weather Conditions. They Must Also Be Able To Read And Understand Maps And Gps Systems.
Physical Fitness And Ability To Lift Heavy Packages: This Job Requires Physical Stamina And The Ability To Lift And Move Packages Weighing Up To 75 Pounds. Delivery Swing Drivers Must Also Be Able To Load And Unload Packages From Their Vehicle Multiple Times A Day.
Time-Management And Organizational Skills: As A Delivery Swing Driver, It Is Important To Manage Time Effectively And Plan Efficient Delivery Routes To Ensure Packages Are Delivered On Time. This Requires Strong Organizational Skills And The Ability To Prioritize Tasks.
