  1. Deliver packages to customers in a timely and efficient manner.
  2. Handle and transport packages with care to ensure their safe delivery.
  3. Follow designated delivery routes and schedules to meet delivery deadlines.
  4. Maintain a positive and professional attitude while interacting with customers.
  5. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing customer inquiries and concerns promptly and effectively.
  6. Keep accurate and up-to-date records of all deliveries made.
  7. Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including safety protocols.
  8. Troubleshoot any delivery issues that may arise and communicate them to the appropriate team members.
  9. Collaborate with team members to ensure all deliveries are completed efficiently.
  10. Maintain a clean and organized delivery vehicle and report any maintenance or repair needs.
  11. Continuously strive to uphold and exceed the company's high delivery standards.
  12. Act as a brand ambassador for FedEx, promoting our commitment to exceptional customer service and reliability.
  13. Complete all required training and stay informed on any updates or changes to company policies and procedures.
  14. Be a flexible team player, willing to assist with other duties as needed.

Job Qualifications

  • Valid Driver's License: A Delivery Swing Driver At Fedex Must Have A Valid Driver's License With A Clean Driving Record. They Will Be Responsible For Operating Large Delivery Trucks And Must Have The Necessary Skills And Experience To Do So Safely.

  • Commercial Driver's License (Cdl): Many Fedex Delivery Trucks Fall Under The Commercial Vehicle Category, Requiring A Cdl To Operate. Candidates For This Role Must Have A Valid Cdl Or Be Willing To Obtain One.

  • Physical Fitness: The Job Of A Delivery Swing Driver At Fedex Is Physically Demanding, Requiring Individuals To Load And Unload Packages Weighing Up To 75 Pounds. As Such, Candidates Must Be Physically Fit And Able To Perform These Tasks.

  • Time Management Skills: Delivery Swing Drivers Must Be Able To Manage Their Time Effectively To Ensure Packages Are Delivered Within The Designated Time Frame. This Requires Strong Time Management Skills And The Ability To Prioritize Tasks.

  • Customer Service Skills: As The Face Of Fedex, Delivery Swing Drivers Must Have Excellent Customer Service Skills. They Will Interact With Customers Daily And Must Be Able To Handle Inquiries, Complaints, And Other Customer-Related Issues In A Professional And Courteous Manner.
