  1. Conduct thorough research and stay up-to-date on all customs laws and regulations to ensure compliance and avoid any potential penalties or delays in the movement of goods.
  2. Collaborate with various internal teams, such as logistics, legal, and finance, to ensure smooth and efficient customs clearance processes.
  3. Prepare and submit accurate and timely customs documentation, including import and export declarations, duty and tax calculations, and other required documents.
  4. Communicate with customs officials, brokers, and other external partners to resolve any issues or discrepancies in customs declarations.
  5. Monitor and track shipments to ensure timely customs clearance and delivery to customers.
  6. Identify and report any potential risks or non-compliance issues related to customs procedures and take necessary corrective actions.
  7. Continuously review and improve customs processes to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
  8. Train and educate team members on customs regulations and procedures to ensure company-wide compliance.
  9. Stay updated on changes in customs regulations and communicate any updates to relevant teams and stakeholders.
  10. Maintain accurate records and documentation of all customs-related activities and transactions.
  11. Provide exceptional customer service by responding to inquiries and resolving any customs-related issues in a timely and professional manner.
  12. Collaborate with global teams to ensure consistency in customs processes and procedures across all international locations.
  13. Conduct periodic audits to ensure compliance with customs regulations and identify areas for improvement.
  14. Represent the company in meetings and negotiations with customs officials and external partners.
  15. Keep abreast of industry trends and best practices in customs trade to continuously improve processes and procedures.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In International Business, Supply Chain Management, Or A Related Field.

  • Knowledge Of Customs Regulations And Procedures, Including Import/Export Documentation And Classification.

  • Minimum Of 2-3 Years Of Experience In Customs Brokerage, Trade Compliance, Or International Logistics.

  • Proficiency In Using Customs Software And Systems, Such As Automated Commercial Environment (Ace) And Electronic Data Interchange (Edi).

  • Strong Communication And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Work Effectively With Cross-Functional Teams And Government Agencies.
