  1. Ensure compliance with all customs regulations and trade laws for global shipments.
  2. Communicate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure efficient and timely movement of goods.
  3. Maintain accurate and up-to-date knowledge of international trade regulations and changes in customs procedures.
  4. Prepare and submit required documentation for customs clearance, including customs declarations and certificates of origin.
  5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve any customs-related issues or delays.
  6. Monitor and track shipments to ensure timely delivery and compliance with customs requirements.
  7. Conduct regular audits to ensure accuracy and completeness of customs documentation.
  8. Identify and report any potential risks or non-compliance issues to management.
  9. Develop and maintain relationships with customs brokers and other trade partners.
  10. Proactively identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiencies in customs procedures.
  11. Train and educate team members on customs regulations and procedures.
  12. Maintain organized and accurate records of all customs-related activities.
  13. Stay updated on industry trends and changes in international trade regulations.
  14. Maintain a high level of professionalism and customer service when interacting with internal and external stakeholders.
  15. Adhere to company policies and procedures related to customs and trade compliance.

Job Qualifications
  • Strong Knowledge Of International Trade Regulations: A Successful Customs Trade Coordinator At Fedex Must Have A Thorough Understanding Of The Various Rules And Regulations Governing International Trade, Including Customs Laws, Tariffs, And Trade Agreements.

  • Experience With Customs Documentation: This Role Requires A High Level Of Attention To Detail And The Ability To Accurately Prepare And Process Customs Documentation. Previous Experience In This Area Is A Key Qualification For This Position.

  • Familiarity With Shipping Software And Systems: Fedex Utilizes A Variety Of Shipping Software And Systems To Facilitate The Movement Of Goods Across Borders. A Qualified Customs Trade Coordinator Should Have Experience Using These Tools And Be Comfortable Navigating Through Different Systems.

  • Strong Communication And Organizational Skills: As A Liaison Between Fedex, Customs Authorities, And Customers, The Customs Trade Coordinator Must Have Excellent Communication Skills And Be Able To Manage Multiple Tasks Efficiently. This Role Also Involves Coordinating With Various Teams Within Fedex, So Strong Organizational Skills Are Essential.

  • Knowledge Of International Trade Compliance: In Addition To Understanding Customs Regulations, The Customs Trade Coordinator Should Also Have Knowledge Of Trade Compliance Laws, Such As Export Controls And Sanctions. This Ensures That All Shipments Are In Compliance With Applicable Laws And Regulations.
