  1. Facilitate the customs clearance process for all international shipments, ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
  2. Communicate with customers, carriers, and government agencies to obtain necessary documentation and information for customs clearance.
  3. Review and analyze customs documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  4. Classify goods according to customs regulations and maintain up-to-date knowledge of tariff codes and duty rates.
  5. Identify and resolve any customs-related issues or delays in a timely manner.
  6. Ensure proper handling and storage of sensitive customs information and documentation.
  7. Collaborate with other departments, such as transportation and finance, to ensure timely delivery and invoicing of international shipments.
  8. Keep up-to-date with changes in customs regulations and procedures, and communicate any updates to relevant parties within the company.
  9. Maintain accurate records and reports of all customs activities and transactions.
  10. Provide excellent customer service by promptly responding to inquiries and resolving any customs-related concerns.
  11. Continuously identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
  12. Collaborate with customs brokers and other third-party providers to support customs clearance activities.
  13. Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding customs compliance and ethical business practices.
  14. Participate in cross-functional projects and meetings to support the company's overall international trade strategy.
  15. Train and mentor new team members on customs regulations and procedures.

  • Knowledge Of Customs Regulations: A Customs Trade Coordinator At Fedex Must Have A Thorough Understanding Of Domestic And International Customs Regulations, Including Trade Policies, Tariffs, And Documentation Requirements.
