As a Customs Trade Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and timely movement of international shipments through the customs clearance process. We are looking for someone with a strong understanding of trade regulations and customs processes, as well as excellent communication and problem-solving skills.   1. Facilitate the customs clearance process for international shipments by ensuring all necessary documentation and information is accurate and complete.
  2. Follow trade regulations and customs procedures to ensure compliance and avoid delays or penalties.
  3. Communicate with customs officials, brokers, and other parties involved in the clearance process to resolve any issues or discrepancies.
  4. Provide timely updates and status reports to internal teams and customers regarding the status of their shipments.
  5. Act as a liaison between FedEx and external parties to obtain necessary permits, licenses, or other required documents for customs clearance.
  6. Monitor and track shipments to ensure they are moving through the clearance process in a timely manner.
  7. Identify and resolve any potential issues or delays in the customs clearance process.
  8. Stay up-to-date on changes in trade regulations and customs procedures to ensure compliance and efficiency.
  9. Collaborate with team members and other departments to improve processes and streamline operations.
  10. Maintain accurate and organized records of all customs-related documentation.
  11. Provide exceptional customer service by promptly addressing any inquiries or concerns related to customs clearance.
  12. Ensure all shipments are properly classified and adhere to import/export regulations.
  13. Monitor and report any potential risks or issues related to customs compliance.
  14. Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance knowledge and skills in international trade and customs processes.
  15. Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety standards.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Or Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In Customs Trade Compliance Or Related Field.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Customs And International Trade Regulations.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills.

  • Proficiency In Relevant Computer Applications And Software, Such As Microsoft Excel And Sap.
