- Coordinate with customs officials, freight forwarders, and other relevant parties to resolve any issues or discrepancies in the customs clearance process.
- Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to provide updates on the status of shipments and address any concerns or inquiries.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of all customs transactions and ensure they are in compliance with company policies and regulations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement strategies for optimizing customs processes and minimizing costs.
- Identify potential risks or issues in the customs clearance process and proactively work to resolve them.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing and resolving any issues or concerns related to customs clearance for clients.
- Monitor and track shipments to ensure they are progressing smoothly through the customs clearance process and take appropriate action if necessary.
- Continuously seek opportunities for process improvement and make recommendations to streamline customs procedures.

Strong Knowledge Of Customs Regulations And Procedures: A Customs Trade Coordinator At Fedex Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of International Trade Regulations And Customs Processes, Including Documentation Requirements, Tariff Classifications, And Import/Export Restrictions.
