  1. Coordinate international trade activities: Oversee and manage the movement of goods across borders, ensuring compliance with all applicable customs and trade regulations.
  2. Ensure compliance with laws and regulations: Stay up-to-date with changes in customs and trade laws, and develop strategies to ensure compliance for all shipments.
  3. Facilitate communication: Serve as the main point of contact for all customs and trade-related inquiries and provide timely and accurate information to all stakeholders.
  4. Process documentation: Collect, review, and process all necessary documentation for import and export shipments, including customs declarations, licenses, and permits.
  5. Monitor shipments: Track and monitor shipments to ensure timely delivery and handle any issues or delays that may arise during the transportation process.
  6. Collaborate with internal teams: Work closely with other departments within the organization, such as logistics, supply chain, and finance, to ensure a smooth and efficient international trade process.
  7. Build relationships: Establish and maintain relationships with customs officials, government agencies, and other trade partners to facilitate the smooth movement of goods.
  8. Provide expertise: Offer expertise and guidance to internal and external stakeholders on customs and trade regulations, and develop solutions to complex trade-related challenges.
  9. Conduct audits: Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with customs and trade regulations and identify areas for improvement.
  10. Support continuous improvement: Continuously review and improve processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in customs and trade operations.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In International Business, Supply Chain Management, Or Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In Customs Brokerage Or Trade Compliance.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Customs Regulations, Import/Export Documentation, And Trade Compliance.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Effectively Interact With Customers, Customs Officials, And Internal Teams.

  • Proficiency In Computer Systems And Software Used For Customs Clearance And Trade Compliance, Such As Customs Automated Manifest Interface Requirements (Camir), Electronic Data Interchange (Edi), And Automated Broker Interface (Abi).
