Job Description

Looking for a dynamic and organized individual to join our team as a Customs Trade Coordinator at FedEx. As a Customs Trade Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and timely movement of goods across borders, while adhering to all customs regulations and compliance requirements.   1. Oversee and manage the customs clearance process for all shipments, ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
  2. Communicate with internal and external stakeholders, including clients, customs officials, and shipping partners, to ensure the efficient movement of goods.
  3. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all customs documents, including import/export licenses, permits, and certificates.
  4. Conduct research and stay current on all customs laws and regulations to ensure compliance and mitigate any potential risks or delays.
  5. Identify and resolve any issues or discrepancies in customs documentation or procedures.
  6. Collaborate with other team members and departments to develop and implement efficient and cost-effective customs clearance processes.
  7. Provide support and guidance to clients regarding customs requirements and procedures.
  8. Monitor and track shipments to ensure they are moving through the customs process in a timely manner.
  9. Prepare and submit customs declarations, duty payments, and other required documentation accurately and on time.
  10. Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement and implement solutions to increase efficiency and reduce costs.

Job Qualifications
  • Strong Knowledge Of Customs Regulations And Trade Compliance: The Ideal Candidate Should Possess A Thorough Understanding Of Customs Regulations, Import/Export Laws, And Trade Compliance Processes And Procedures.

  • Experience With Customs Documentation And Procedures: Candidates Should Have Experience In Preparing And Reviewing Customs Documentation, Including Commercial Invoices, Packing Lists, And Customs Declarations.

  • Proficiency In Customs Software And Technology: The Candidate Should Be Familiar With Customs Software And Technology Used For Tracking And Managing Shipments, Such As Fedex's Trade Networks System.

  • Attention To Detail And Accuracy: This Role Requires A High Level Of Attention To Detail And Accuracy In Completing Customs Documentation And Ensuring Compliance With Regulations.
