As a Courier/Swing Driver, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the timely and safe delivery of packages to our valued customers.   1. Safely operate a delivery vehicle and adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols.
  2. Load and unload packages onto the delivery vehicle in a timely and organized manner.
  3. Plan and follow an efficient delivery route to ensure timely and accurate package delivery.
  4. Communicate with customers in a professional and courteous manner, providing exceptional customer service.
  5. Maintain accurate records of packages delivered and collect any necessary signatures or payments.
  6. Report any delivery or vehicle issues to management in a timely manner.
  7. Adhere to company policies and procedures, including proper vehicle maintenance and appearance.
  8. Work independently and efficiently to meet delivery deadlines and customer expectations.
  9. Follow all company and government regulations regarding the transportation of hazardous materials.
  10. Collaborate with team members and assist with other duties as needed.
  11. Continuously monitor and maintain a safe working environment, including following all safety protocols and wearing appropriate personal protective equipment.
  12. Attend training sessions and stay updated on industry regulations and best practices.
  13. Demonstrate a strong work ethic and reliability, including being punctual and dependable for assigned shifts.
  14. Represent the company in a professional manner at all times.
  15. Maintain a valid CDL-1 license and follow all requirements for safe operation of a commercial vehicle.

  • Valid Cdl Class A License: This Job Requires A Valid Commercial Driver's License (Cdl) Class A, Which Allows The Driver To Operate A Vehicle With A Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (Gvwr) Of Over 26,000 Pounds, Including Tractor-Trailers.

  • Clean Driving Record: Fedex Places A High Value On Safety And Requires All Drivers To Have A Clean Driving Record Without Any Major Violations Or Accidents In The Past Three Years.

  • Ability To Lift Up To 75 Pounds: As A Courier And Swing Driver, You Will Be Responsible For Loading And Unloading Packages Weighing Up To 75 Pounds, So Physical Strength And Stamina Are Important Qualifications For This Job.

  • Customer Service Skills: As A Courier, You Will Be Interacting With Customers On A Daily Basis, So Excellent Customer Service Skills Are Essential. You Should Be Friendly, Professional, And Able To Communicate Effectively.

  • Flexibility To Work Different Shifts: This Job May Require Working Different Shifts, Including Early Mornings, Evenings, And Weekends. You Should Have A Flexible Schedule And Be Able To Work Overtime When Needed.
