- Deliver packages to customers in a timely and efficient manner using company vehicles, adhering to all safety regulations and procedures.
- Provide exceptional customer service by interacting with customers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Load and unload packages from vehicles, ensuring proper handling and delivery.
- Follow delivery schedules and route instructions provided by management.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and pickups, including obtaining necessary signatures and completing all required paperwork.
- Communicate any delivery or pickup issues or delays to management in a timely manner.
- Conduct daily vehicle inspections and report any maintenance or safety concerns.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including those related to safety, security, and confidentiality.
- Continuously strive to meet and exceed performance goals and standards set by the company.
- Attend training sessions and meetings as required to stay updated on company policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient and effective delivery operations.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area and vehicle at all times.
- Represent the company in a professional manner at all times.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
A Valid Driver's License And A Clean Driving Record: As A Courier/Dot At Fedex, You Will Be Responsible For Driving Company Vehicles To Deliver Packages. Therefore, Having A Valid Driver's License And A Clean Driving Record Is Essential.
Excellent Navigation And Map-Reading Skills: Couriers/Dots At Fedex Must Be Able To Navigate Efficiently And Accurately To Deliver Packages In A Timely Manner. This Requires Strong Map-Reading Skills And The Ability To Find The Most Efficient Routes.
Physical Fitness And Stamina: This Job Involves A Significant Amount Of Physical Activity, Such As Lifting And Carrying Packages, Walking, And Climbing Stairs. Therefore, Being Physically Fit And Having The Stamina To Handle The Demands Of The Job Is Important.
