- Contact and communicate with customers to collect outstanding accounts receivable in a timely and professional manner
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all collection efforts and customer interactions
- Work closely with other teams within the company to resolve any billing or payment discrepancies
- Utilize various collection strategies to ensure timely and successful collection of outstanding balances
- Identify and escalate potential collection issues to management in a timely manner
- Provide excellent customer service and maintain positive relationships with customers
- Follow company policies and procedures related to collections and accounts receivable
- Monitor and analyze customer payment trends to develop effective collection strategies
- Collaborate with the sales team to resolve any customer issues that may impact payment
- Keep track of and report on the progress of collection efforts to management
- Stay updated on industry trends and regulations related to collections and accounts receivable.
Previous Experience In Collections Or Customer Service Roles, Preferably In A Fast-Paced Environment.
Strong Communication And Negotiation Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Handle Difficult Situations.
Proficiency In Computer Systems And Software, Including Experience With Crm Databases And Microsoft Office.
Knowledge Of Federal And State Regulations Related To Debt Collection, Including The Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (Fdcpa).
Attention To Detail And Ability To Prioritize And Manage A High Volume Of Accounts To Meet Collection Goals.
