As a Collections Agent at FedEx, you will be responsible for collecting outstanding balances from customers while maintaining a professional and customer-focused approach.   1. Contact customers to collect outstanding balances in a timely and professional manner.
  2. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all collections activities.
  3. Utilize various communication methods, such as phone, email, and mail, to reach out to customers.
  4. Investigate and resolve any billing or payment discrepancies.
  5. Work with customers to set up payment plans and negotiate payment arrangements.
  6. Monitor and track payment deadlines to ensure timely collections.
  7. Escalate difficult or unresolved cases to the appropriate department or supervisor.
  8. Provide exceptional customer service and maintain a positive attitude in all interactions.
  9. Collaborate with other team members and departments to streamline collections processes.
  10. Stay up-to-date on company policies and procedures related to collections.
  11. Meet and exceed individual and team targets and goals.
  12. Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive customer information with care.
  13. Communicate effectively with customers, colleagues, and superiors.
  14. Proactively identify and report any potential issues or areas for improvement in the collections process.
  15. Adhere to all applicable laws, regulations, and company policies related to collections practices.
