  1. Safely and efficiently operate a delivery vehicle to transport packages and parcels to customers.
  2. Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while driving.
  3. Plan and organize delivery routes to ensure timely and efficient delivery of packages.
  4. Provide exceptional customer service by delivering packages with a positive and friendly attitude.
  5. Handle and load packages with care to prevent damage.
  6. Verify and accurately complete all necessary paperwork and documentation for each delivery.
  7. Communicate any delays or issues with deliveries to the appropriate parties.
  8. Maintain a clean and organized vehicle and report any maintenance or repair needs.

  10. Represent the company in a professional manner at all times.

Job Qualifications

  • Valid Commercial Driver's License (Cdl) With Hazmat Endorsement: A Cdl With Hazmat Endorsement Is Required To Operate Commercial Vehicles, Such As Delivery Trucks, At Fedex.

  • Clean Driving Record: A City Driver At Fedex Must Have A Clean Driving Record With No Major Traffic Violations In The Past Three Years.

  • Physical Fitness: The Job Of A City Driver Involves Loading And Unloading Packages, As Well As Walking, Standing, And Kneeling For Extended Periods Of Time. Therefore, Physical Fitness And The Ability To Lift And Carry Heavy Objects Are Important Qualifications.

  • Customer Service Skills: Fedex City Drivers Interact With Customers On A Daily Basis, Delivering Packages To Their Homes And Businesses. Therefore, Strong Customer Service Skills, Including Communication And Problem-Solving, Are Necessary For This Role.
