As a Category Manager II-Facilities, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of facility management, including budgeting, vendor management, and strategic planning.   1. Develop and implement strategic plans for efficient and effective management of FedEx facilities globally.
  2. Create and manage budgets for all facilities, ensuring cost-effectiveness and adherence to financial goals.
  3. Oversee vendor relationships and contracts, negotiate favorable terms and pricing, and ensure high-quality service delivery.
  4. Monitor and maintain facility operations, including repairs and maintenance, security, and compliance with safety regulations.
  5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements and cost-saving initiatives.
  6. Ensure timely and accurate reporting of facility operations and KPIs to senior management.
  7. Manage a team of facility coordinators and technicians, providing leadership, training, and performance feedback.
  8. Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including internal departments, external partners, and regulatory agencies.
  9. Stay informed of industry trends and best practices in facility management, and make recommendations for continuous improvement.
  10. Promote a culture of safety and compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and company policies.
  11. Conduct periodic audits and inspections to ensure facilities are meeting company standards and customer expectations.
  12. Represent FedEx in meetings, conferences, and other industry events to network and promote the company's facilities management capabilities.
  13. Collaborate with procurement and sourcing teams to identify and onboard new vendors and negotiate contracts.
  14. Identify and manage risks and issues related to facility operations, and develop contingency plans to mitigate potential disruptions.
  15. Foster a positive and professional work environment, promoting teamwork, communication, and a strong customer service mindset.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Facilities Management, Procurement, Or Category Management.

  • Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Identify Cost-Saving Opportunities And Negotiate Contracts.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Collaborate With Cross-Functional Teams And Build Relationships With Vendors.

  • Knowledge Of Industry Trends And Best Practices In Facilities Management, Including Sustainability And Safety Regulations.
