Job Description

Fannie Mae is seeking an outstanding Senior Manager - Internal Audit Quantitative Modeling to join our team. The successful candidate will be a detail-oriented professional with a passion for ensuring accuracy and compliance of quantitative models used in business decisions. This individual will be responsible for developing and maintaining an effective internal audit program for quantitative models, as well as leading ad-hoc quantitative modeling projects. To be successful in this role, the Senior Manager - Internal Audit Quantitative Modeling must have a strong background in quantitative modeling, risk assessment, and financial analysis. Additionally, the ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively to achieve objectives. Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and maintain an effective internal audit program for quantitative models.
  2. Lead ad-hoc quantitative modeling projects.
  3. Ensure accuracy and compliance of quantitative models used in business decisions.
  4. Perform risk assessments and financial analysis.
  5. Communicate effectively with stakeholders both internally and externally.
  6. Work both independently and collaboratively to achieve objectives.
  7. Monitor, evaluate, and document progress of quantitative models.
  8. Identify and implement process improvements related to quantitative modeling.
  9. Remain up-to-date on the latest quantitative modeling techniques and best practices.
  10. Provide training and guidance to internal teams on quantitative modeling.
