Job Description

Fannie Mae is looking for an experienced and knowledgeable Lead Software Engineer - AWS to join our team and lead our efforts in developing and maintaining our AWS infrastructure. This is an opportunity to make a direct impact on one of the industry’s most innovative and forward-thinking organizations.The ideal candidate should be a creative self-starter who is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and has an in-depth knowledge of AWS technologies. This position requires a leader who is passionate about developing and maintaining reliable and resilient technical solutions, and who can also provide guidance to team members on their AWS projects.Required qualifications include:• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field• 5+ years of experience developing cloud-based applications, preferably on AWS• Expertise with AWS services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, and CloudFormation• Knowledge of best practices for designing secure, cost-efficient, and scalable cloud solutions• Experience with scripting languages (Python, Bash)• Ability to work in a cross-functional team and communicate effectively with stakeholders• Demonstrated record of taking initiative and driving projects to completion• Excellent problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn new technologiesIf you are looking for an opportunity to work with an innovative and highly collaborative group, we would love to hear from you!
