Job Description

Fannie Mae is looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Finance Program Intern to join our team. Our ideal candidate will be an undergraduate or graduate student in finance, accounting, or a related field with a passion for learning about the mortgage finance industry. You will be able to work independently while also collaborating with a diverse team of professionals.To be successful in this role, you will need to have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent organizational and communication abilities. You must also be able to demonstrate the ability to learn quickly and be flexible in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment.You will be part of an innovative and forward-thinking team and have the opportunity to contribute to the success of Fannie Mae’s mission. Responsibilities:

  1. Assist in the development and implementation of financial programs.
  2. Conduct financial and market research and analyze data to identify trends and opportunities.
  3. Develop and present financial reports and presentations.
  4. Assist in the development of strategic initiatives and initiatives to improve financial performance.
  5. Manage and track budget and other financial data.
  6. Assist in the preparation of financial statements and other financial documents.
  7. Work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.
  8. Collaborate with other departments to ensure successful program implementation.
  9. Utilize knowledge and understanding of the mortgage finance industry to make informed decisions.
  10. Provide support to the Finance team in areas such as project management and customer service.
