Job Description

Fannie Mae is seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Manager for our Diversity and Inclusion Programs. This role will be responsible for leading the strategy, development, and implementation of our company-wide diversity and inclusion initiatives. The ideal candidate will have the knowledge, skills, and expertise to create a culture of inclusion, and foster an environment where all employees can bring their best self to work. To be successful in this role, you must have a minimum of 8 years of experience in diversity and inclusion programs, and a proven track record of developing and executing successful diversity and inclusion strategies. You must also have strong analytical, organizational, and project management skills, as well as excellent written and verbal communication skills. Additionally, you must have the ability to work collaboratively with multiple stakeholders and to lead and motivate teams. A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Human Relations, or a related field is required.

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and execute a comprehensive diversity and inclusion strategy that meets the goals and objectives of the organization.
  2. Analyze the current diversity and inclusion programs and make recommendations to improve effectiveness.
  3. Lead and motivate teams to achieve diversity and inclusion goals.
  4. Collaborate with multiple stakeholders to ensure successful implementation of diversity and inclusion initiatives.
  5. Monitor and evaluate the progress of diversity and inclusion programs.
  6. Create a culture of inclusion and foster an environment where all employees can bring their best self to work.
  7. Provide guidance and support to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations related to diversity and inclusion.
  8. Develop and maintain relationships with key external stakeholders, including government and community organizations.
  9. Prepare and present progress reports to senior management.
  10. Stay abreast of current trends and best practices in the field of diversity and inclusion.
