
Operations Assistant Manager
Family Dollar is looking for an experienced, high-energy Operations Assistant Manager to join our team. We are a fast-paced, customer-focused, discount retailer that relies on the dedication and enthusiasm of our staff to keep our company at the top of its industry. The ideal candidate for this role will have a successful track record in operations management, a commitment to excellent customer service, and strong leadership and communication skills. We are looking for someone who can drive our store's performance and ensure that our customers have an exceptional shopping experience. The successful candidate must possess the following qualifications:• At least two years of operations management experience in a retail environment • Demonstrated ability to manage a team and drive performance • Excellent customer service skills • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities • Ability to think on your feet and work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment • Proficiency in MS Office If you’re an organized, self-motivated individual with a passion for customer service and success, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement operational strategies to ensure the store meets its performance objectives • Manage daily store operations, including overseeing team members and ensuring customer service is at the highest level • Monitor staff performance and ensure that store policies and procedures are followed • Lead and motivate team members to achieve store goals • Develop and maintain relationships with customers and vendors • Resolve customer issues and complaints in a timely and professional manner • Ensure all store areas are clean and organized • Monitor inventory levels and order merchandise as needed • Create and adhere to store budget • Analyze store performance data and make recommendations for improvements
