Job Description

We are looking for an enthusiastic and organized Operations Assistant Manager to join our team at Family Dollar. In this position, you will be responsible for providing day-to-day operational support to the Store Manager and ensuring that our store runs smoothly and efficiently. You will need to be an effective communicator and have excellent organizational skills to be successful in this role.The ideal candidate should have a high school diploma or equivalent, with at least 1 year of experience in retail operations. You should have excellent customer service skills, be able to take initiative and have the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively. You should also have strong analytical and problem-solving skills.If you have a passion for helping customers and are looking for an exciting opportunity to join a growing team, this is the job for you!

Responsibilites:

  1. Provide daily operational support to the Store Manager, including managing the store's day-to-day operations.
  2. Ensure the store runs smoothly and efficiently.
  3. Provide excellent customer service to customers and staff.
  4. Take initiative and multitask effectively while prioritizing tasks.
  5. Utilize strong analytical and problem-solving skills to resolve customer issues.
  6. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of store operations, transactions, and customer interactions.
  7. Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures.
  8. Monitor inventory levels and order merchandise as needed.
  9. Participate in training and development of store staff.
  10. Develop and implement strategies to increase store efficiency and customer satisfaction.
