
Operations Assistant Manager
At Family Dollar, we are looking for a motivated and organized individual to join our team as an Operations Assistant Manager. Our ideal candidate will have the interpersonal skills and experience necessary to take on this key role in our business.The Operations Assistant Manager is responsible for overseeing daily operations and providing support to the Store Manager. This individual will ensure that customer service and store standards are met while also supporting other store staff members in the completion of their daily duties.The successful candidate will possess a minimum of two years of retail management experience, excellent communication skills, the ability to multi-task, and strong problem-solving skills. Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations within the store and provide support to the Store Manager.
- Ensure that customer service and store standards are met.
- Provide support to other store staff members in the completion of their daily duties.
- Monitor workflow and be able to adjust processes as needed.
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints in a professional manner.
- Monitor inventory levels and restocking as needed.
- Utilize strong communication skills and problem-solving abilities.
- Maintain a safe and orderly environment for both customers and staff.
- Assist in training and developing store staff.
- Manage store budget and expenses.
