Merchandise Assistant Manager

Family Dollar is looking for an experienced Merchandise Assistant Manager to join our team! As a Merchandise Assistant Manager, you will assist in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the store, help manage staff, and ensure all customers receive excellent service. We are seeking a motivated, organized, and detail-oriented individual to join our team.The ideal candidate should have a high school diploma or GED and at least three years of retail experience. A college degree in business or a related field is preferred. You must possess excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Responsibilities:

1. Ensure that all store operations are conducted in compliance with company policies and procedures.
2. Monitor inventory levels and order supplies to ensure adequate stock is available.
3. Assist in recruiting, hiring, and training store personnel.
4. Manage staff performance and provide feedback and coaching to ensure success.
5. Resolve customer complaints and inquiries in a timely manner.
6. Monitor daily sales and adjust staffing levels accordingly.
7. Ensure that the store is clean and organized at all times.
8. Develop and implement effective merchandising displays.
9. Monitor cash registers to ensure accuracy in transactions.
10. Assist in managing the store budget and controlling expenses.
