Family Dollar is looking for a dynamic and experienced Merchandise Assistant Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be a self-starter, capable of working independently and as part of a team, and will possess great organizational and communication skills. The ideal candidate should have a passion for retail and be committed to delivering a superior customer experience.The Merchandise Assistant Manager will be responsible for helping to ensure the daily operations of the store run smoothly. Responsibilities:
- Supervise and train store associates on customer service standards, operational procedures, and product knowledge.
- Monitor store operations to ensure compliance with safety regulations, store policies and procedures, and customer service standards.
- Maintain store displays and merchandise to maximize sales and profitability.
- Assist in resolving customer complaints and inquiries.
- Analyze sales data and develop strategies to increase sales and profitability.
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely reordering of products.
- Assist in recruiting, hiring and training new staff members.
- Create and update store operational documents and training materials.
- Prepare and submit reports on store performance and other related metrics.
- Develop and implement promotional and advertising campaigns to generate interest and increase customer engagement.
