
Assistant Store Manager

Our high-volume Family Dollar store is looking for a motivated and customer-oriented Assistant Store Manager to join our team and help us deliver the ultimate shopping experience. As the Assistant Store Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the Store Manager in all facets of store operations. You should have an excellent understanding of customer service principles as well as the ability to motivate and lead a team. Your ability to build relationships with customers and staff alike will be essential for success in this role.Required Qualifications:• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in retail management• Ability to effectively lead and motivate a team• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills• Excellent communication and customer service skills• Flexible schedule and ability to work a variety of shifts• High school diploma or equivalent
Responsibilities:
- Assist the Store Manager in all daily operations and decisions.
- Motivate and lead a team of employees to provide excellent customer service.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Manage inventory and stock levels to maximize sales.
- Monitor staff performance and provide coaching and feedback.
- Handle customer complaints and resolve issues in a timely manner.
- Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and profitability.
- Create schedules and assign tasks to team members.
- Monitor the store’s budget and expenses to ensure efficiency.
