Job Description

As an Assistant Store Manager at Family Dollar, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of our customers. We are looking for a passionate, detail-oriented, and organized individual who is customer-focused and team-oriented. The ideal candidate will have the ability to lead and motivate a team, possess excellent communication skills, and be able to quickly learn and utilize store systems.The successful candidate must have a minimum of two years of retail experience, preferably in a fast-paced environment, as well as a high school diploma or equivalent. We are also looking for someone who is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and can quickly adapt to change. Responsibilities:

  1. Lead and motivate a team of store associates to ensure that customer service goals are met
  2. Monitor store performance and identify areas for improvement
  3. Ensure that store operations run smoothly and efficiently
  4. Handle customer inquiries and complaints in a polite and timely manner
  5. Monitor inventory and order supplies as needed
  6. Adhere to all store policies and procedures
  7. Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations
  8. Train and supervise staff members
  9. Maintain a safe and secure working environment
  10. Develop and implement promotional strategies to increase sales
