Job Description

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Assistant Store Manager to join our amazing team at Family Dollar! The ideal candidate for this role should have a passion for customer service and a proven track record of success in a team-oriented environment. We are seeking someone with strong communication skills, excellent organizational abilities, and a focus on delivering exceptional customer experiences. Required qualifications: • High School diploma or GED• 1-2 years of experience in customer service and/or retail industry• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays• Proven ability to lead and motivate a team• Ability to multi-task and handle competing priorities• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills• Ability to work independently and as part of a team• Excellent verbal and written communication skills• Proficiency in computer programs including Microsoft Office, point-of-sale systems, and inventory management software

Responsibilities:

• Provide excellent customer service and ensure customer satisfaction

• Work closely with the Store Manager to develop and carry out strategies to increase sales and profitability • Develop and maintain strong customer relationships • Train, lead, motivate, and develop team members • Monitor customer service and operational standards to ensure customer satisfaction • Assist with inventory management and ordering of products • Ensure compliance with safety and cleanliness standards • Monitor and analyze store performance metrics • Develop and implement promotions to drive sales • Stay up to date with industry trends and changes
