
Assistant Store Manager

- Support the Store Manager in daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures, inventory management, and cash handling.
- Assist in recruiting, hiring, training, and supervising store employees to ensure a high-performing and cohesive team.
- Foster a positive and customer-focused work environment by providing guidance, coaching, and feedback to team members.
- Monitor and analyze store performance, including sales metrics and customer feedback, to identify areas for improvement and develop action plans to drive sales and meet goals.
- Collaborate with the Store Manager to create and implement effective merchandising strategies to attract and retain customers.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as federal, state, and local regulations.
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints in a professional and timely manner, ensuring exceptional customer service at all times.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing store environment to enhance the customer shopping experience.
- Assist in managing inventory levels and ordering products to meet customer demand while minimizing waste and shrinkage.
- Act as a role model and lead by example, demonstrating a strong work ethic, positive attitude, and commitment to the company's values and goals.
Strong Leadership Skills: An Assistant Store Manager At Family Dollar Should Have Proven Experience In Managing A Team And Leading Them Towards Achieving Sales And Operational Goals.
