Software Engineer
This team is responsible for the storage and publishing of real time quote and trade data throughout the FactSet platform. Serving the needs of both internal and client facing end users, members of the quotes caching team work in a dynamic high availability environment. Develop, test and deploy software and services on premise and eventually in the cloud. Management of the identifier resolution and routing technology stack. Configuration and optimization of identifier routing layers through nginx, redis, and memcached. Maintenance of update systems for back end identifier stores. Migration of identifier services to AWS cloud platform. Participation in an on-call rotation.
2+ years C++ programming experience
Scripting and infrastructure development in python or perl as well as shell scripts
Experience setting up and administering nginx servers
Comfort with terminology and concepts in AWS
