- Troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues to ensure maximum network uptime and performance.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and technologies to ensure FactSet's network infrastructure remains current and competitive.
- Collaborate with team members to develop and implement new network strategies and initiatives.
- Monitor and analyze network traffic to identify potential areas for improvement and optimization.
- Develop and maintain network documentation, including diagrams, configurations, and standard operating procedures.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior network engineers.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of network infrastructure with other systems.
- Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours support and maintenance.
- Continuously evaluate and recommend new tools and processes to enhance network performance and efficiency.
- Identify and troubleshoot security vulnerabilities and implement appropriate solutions.

Extensive Experience In Network Engineering: A Senior Systems Engineer - Network Engineering At Factset Should Have A Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Designing, Implementing And Maintaining Complex Network Systems.
Strong Knowledge Of Network Protocols And Technologies: Candidates Should Possess Strong Knowledge Of Network Protocols Such As Tcp/Ip, Dns, Dhcp, And Bgp, As Well As Experience With Technologies Such As Routers, Switches, Firewalls, And Load Balancers.
