- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the company's benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other employee perks.
- Serve as the main point of contact for employees regarding all benefits-related inquiries, providing timely and accurate responses to their questions and concerns.
- Collaborate with third-party vendors and internal stakeholders to manage the enrollment process for new hires, annual open enrollment, and any changes to existing benefits plans.
- Administer all aspects of the benefits programs, including processing enrollments, terminations, changes, and claims.
- Ensure compliance with all federal and state laws and regulations related to employee benefits, including ERISA, HIPAA, and ACA.
- Conduct regular audits of benefits data to ensure accuracy and resolve any discrepancies.
- Develop and deliver benefits communications and trainings to employees, ensuring understanding and utilization of available benefits.
- Stay informed of industry trends and best practices in employee benefits, making recommendations for improvements and enhancements to the company's benefits offerings.
- Work closely with the HR team to develop and implement strategies to attract and retain top talent through competitive benefits packages.
- Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on complex benefits issues, including FMLA, COBRA, and disability accommodations.
- Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive employee information with discretion and professionalism.
- Monitor and analyze benefits usage and costs, making recommendations for cost-saving initiatives and process improvements.
- Prepare and distribute reports on benefits utilization, costs, and trends to inform decision making and budgeting.
- Stay up-to-date on changes to benefits laws and regulations and communicate any necessary updates to the HR team and employees.
- Mentor and train junior HR team members on benefits administration processes and procedures.
Extensive Knowledge Of Employee Benefits Programs: A Senior Benefits Specialist At Factset Research Systems Should Have A Deep Understanding Of Various Benefits Programs, Such As Health Insurance, Retirement Plans, And Disability Benefits.
Experience In Benefits Administration: This Role Requires Strong Experience In Managing Employee Benefits, Including Enrollment, Claims Processing, And Vendor Management.
