We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accountant to join our SEC Reporting team at FactSet Research Systems. As a Senior Accountant, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and completeness of our financial reporting in compliance with SEC regulations.   1. Prepare and review financial statements and reports in compliance with SEC regulations.
  2. Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data by conducting thorough analysis and reconciliation.
  3. Stay up-to-date with changes in SEC regulations and ensure timely implementation of any required updates.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather necessary financial data and provide support in the preparation of SEC filings.
  5. Identify and resolve any discrepancies or issues in financial reporting.
  6. Review and analyze internal controls to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  7. Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual SEC filings, including 10-Ks, 10-Qs, and other required forms.
  8. Support external auditors during quarterly and year-end reviews and audits.
  9. Provide guidance and mentorship to junior members of the accounting team.
  10. Participate in special projects and initiatives to improve financial reporting processes and procedures.
  11. Communicate effectively with management and other stakeholders on financial reporting matters.
  12. Ensure compliance with GAAP and other accounting standards.
  13. Conduct financial analyses and provide insights to aid in decision-making processes.
  14. Maintain accurate and organized documentation of financial data.
  15. Continuously strive for process improvement and efficiency in financial reporting.

  • Strong Financial Analysis Skills: The Ability To Analyze Financial Statements And Identify Any Discrepancies Or Irregularities Is Crucial For A Senior Accountant In This Role. They Should Also Be Able To Provide Insights And Recommendations Based On Their Analysis.

  • Experience With Public Company Reporting: As A Senior Accountant, Candidates Should Have Prior Experience Working With Public Companies And Have A Deep Understanding Of Their Reporting Requirements And Deadlines.
