As a DataFeed Specialist, you will play a critical role in the collection, validation, and maintenance of financial data for our clients. We are looking for someone who is detail-oriented, analytical, and has a strong understanding of data feeds.   1. Collect and validate financial data from various sources for accuracy and completeness.
  2. Ensure timely and accurate delivery of data to clients.
  3. Collaborate with internal teams to identify and resolve any data discrepancies.
  4. Monitor and maintain data feeds to ensure continuous and reliable data flow.
  5. Develop and improve processes for data collection, validation, and maintenance.
  6. Stay updated on industry trends and changes in data sources and make necessary adjustments.
  7. Provide support to clients in understanding and utilizing data feeds.
  8. Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues related to data feeds.
  9. Create and maintain documentation for data feed processes and procedures.
  10. Identify and implement opportunities for automation and efficiency in data feed processes.
  11. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
  12. Communicate regularly with clients to understand their data needs and address any concerns.
  13. Participate in training and knowledge-sharing sessions to enhance data feed expertise.
  14. Ensure compliance with data privacy and security regulations.
  15. Maintain a high level of attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.

Job Qualifications

  • Strong Technical Skills: A Datafeed Specialist Must Have A Strong Understanding Of Data Feeds And The Ability To Troubleshoot And Resolve Technical Issues Related To Data Feeds. This Includes Experience With Programming Languages Such As Sql, Python, And R.

  • Knowledge Of Financial Markets: As Factset Research Systems Primarily Serves The Financial Industry, A Datafeed Specialist Should Have A Good Understanding Of Financial Markets, Including Different Types Of Financial Instruments, Market Data, And Market Regulations.

  • Attention To Detail: Data Feeds Are A Critical Part Of Factset's Business, And Even Small Errors Can Have A Significant Impact. A Datafeed Specialist Must Have Exceptional Attention To Detail To Ensure That Data Feeds Are Accurate And Up-To-Date.
