Communications Manager, Social Impact

In this role, the successful candidate will have the opportunity to identify, support and create proactive communications plans across Meta’s Social Impact work. Develop proactive, creative and impactful storytelling -- from ideation to execution -- across Social Impact product areas. Build awareness of Meta’s social impact work in mainstream consumer press outlets. Strengthen existing and cultivate new relationships with tech and consumer print and online media, broadcast outlets, bloggers and influencers. Draft and execute communications strategies for upcoming proactive moments. Navigate and respond nimbly and strategically to media inbound inquiries related to Meta’s Social Impact work to help shape stories and headlines. Work closely with cross functional teams to understand product features, map out timelines and develop and execute communications strategies to break through the noise. Identify, create and execute opportunities to connect executives, community leaders, partners with press.
