Job Description

Serve as the company’s subject matter expert on legal obligations related to online safety and integrity issues, including, but not limited to, child safety and human exploitation (e.g., sex trafficking, human smuggling, domestic servitude, illegal adoption), terrorism & violent extremism, scams and fraud. Develop and implement global policies relating to safety and integrity. Champion safety & integrity by design in product development. Support Legal and Public Policy teams’ engagement with regulators and legislators on safety issues. Collaborate with members of Public Policy, Communications, Legal, Global Operations, Product, Engineering, Compliance and others on safety and integrity matters.

Job Qualifications

  • 8+ years of legal experience, including government, in-house and/or law firm experience advising technology companies

  • Experience working with Safety NGOs such as NCMEC and industry trade associations

  • Direct experience working with U.S. law enforcement authorities

  • Experience with the Stored Communications Act, 18 USC §2258A, SESTA-FOSTA, CDA 230 and other user generated content-based regulations
