Job Description

Responsible for upholding F5’s Business Code of Ethics and for promptly reporting violations of the Code or other company policies. Responsible for strategic vision of platform test methodologies from the systems prototype stage to production and customer deployments. Serves as technical lead to detail all aspects of hardware and software test strategies, test specifications, and test plans to ensure all items in the design specification have been met. Leads, reviews, and directs the key architectural components of F5's hardware, software, and general product architecture. Performs analysis to define design requirements for modification to existing tools, utilities, system structures, environments and determines project scope and estimating activities. Serves as primary source of technical expertise to a project team and is a mentor for junior staff members.

Job Qualifications

15+ years’ experience in the development of computer software in areas relevant to F5 product line
Expert knowledge and extensive experience with BIG-IP
Expert knowledge and extensive experience with network and web technologies (IP, TCP, HTTP, SSL)
Experience leading complex product development test initiatives from concept through release
