- Design, implement, and maintain SOAR technologies and systems to enhance and improve Experian's overall cybersecurity posture.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify security gaps and develop solutions to address them.
- Develop and maintain security protocols, policies, and procedures for SOAR systems.
- Conduct regular assessments and audits of SOAR systems to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Proactively monitor and analyze security event logs to identify and respond to potential threats.
- Lead incident response efforts and conduct forensic investigations when necessary.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest security trends and vulnerabilities, and make recommendations for improvements to SOAR systems.
- Train and mentor junior team members on SOAR technologies and best practices.
- Communicate complex technical concepts and solutions to non-technical stakeholders.
- Collaborate with external vendors and partners to evaluate and implement new SOAR technologies.
- Participate in on-call rotations to provide 24/7 support for critical security incidents.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on SOAR systems and provide guidance and support to other departments within Experian.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of disaster recovery and business continuity plans for SOAR systems.
- Conduct regular performance and risk assessments of SOAR systems and make recommendations for improvements.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures related to information security and confidentiality.
Extensive Experience In Security Orchestration, Automation, And Response (Soar) Technology: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Minimum Of 5 Years Of Hands-On Experience Working With Soar Platforms Such As Splunk Phantom, Demisto, Or Ibm Resilient. They Should Possess A Deep Understanding Of Soar Workflows, Playbooks, And Automation Capabilities.
Strong Understanding Of Cybersecurity And Incident Response Processes: The Senior Soar Engineer Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of Cybersecurity Principles And A Solid Background In Incident Response. They Should Be Able To Effectively Map Security Use Cases To Soar Workflows And Playbooks.
Proficiency In Scripting And Coding: The Role Requires Strong Scripting Skills In Languages Such As Python, Javascript, Or Powershell. The Candidate Should Also Have Experience With Apis And Web Services To Integrate Soar With Other Security Tools.
Proven Track Record Of Successfully Implementing And Managing Soar Solutions: The Candidate Should Have Experience In Designing, Implementing, And Managing Soar Solutions In Large Organizations. They Should Be Able To Provide Examples Of How They Have Improved Incident Response Processes And Reduced Manual Effort Through Soar Automation.
