1. Implement and maintain secure systems and applications within the organization.
2. Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to implement best practices and processes for security.
3. Continuously monitor and assess security risks and vulnerabilities within the organization's systems and applications.
4. Develop and maintain security policies, standards, and procedures.
5. Conduct regular security audits and penetration testing to identify and address potential vulnerabilities.
6. Work with cross-functional teams to remediate security issues and implement necessary security controls.
7. Stay up-to-date with the latest security threats and trends and proactively implement measures to mitigate potential risks.
8. Train and educate team members on security best practices and procedures.
9. Drive continuous improvement by identifying and implementing automation and efficiency opportunities.

12. Serve as a subject matter expert on DevOps and security principles and methodologies.

15. Communicate and work with stakeholders to ensure a clear understanding of security requirements and priorities.
16. Proactively identify potential security risks and provide solutions to mitigate them.
