This critical role is responsible for providing operational oversight and support for the company’s databases and ensuring their overall stability and reliability. The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated track record of success in database operations and a passion for working with cutting-edge technology.To succeed in this role, the Database Operations Director must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, and at least 8 years of experience in database operations and administration. Strong knowledge of database technologies such as Oracle, MySQL, and MS SQL is essential. Responsibilities:

1. Provide operational oversight and support for Experian’s databases and ensure their overall stability and reliability.
2. Monitor database performance, troubleshoot issues, and develop strategies for improvement.
3. Implement best practices and maintain database security protocols.
4. Develop and maintain database documentation, including data models, database design documents, and user guides.
5. Manage database backup and recovery procedures.
6. Lead the database administration team and provide guidance and direction to ensure goals are met.
7. Monitor database growth and resource utilization and make recommendations for capacity planning.
8. Stay abreast of emerging database technologies and trends.
9. Develop and implement database-related policies and procedures.
10. Work closely with other departments to ensure database requirements are met.
